Get ready for a half term full of fun at Wildwood Kent this February
From Saturday 15th February - Sunday 23rd February, Kent’s wildest animal park, Wildwood, will be hosting a jam-packed week of events, guaranteed to banish the winter blues!
Visiting Wildwood Kent this February half term is a wonderful opportunity for families to connect with nature and wildlife. It's not just educational, but also a fun, outdoor experience where children and adults alike can learn something new! The park, which is just outside of Canterbury, is home to more than 40 species of British wildlife, from wolves and wildcats to elk and egrets.
Adventure trail and other activities
Join in the fun with our adventure trail. Follow the clues around the 42-acre ancient woodland park. Prizes will await the victors! Tickets cost £3 and are available on arrival at the shop.
On selected days throughout the week, visitors will also be able to join in with a host of fun activities from marshmallow toasting, to arts and crafts.
The cafe will be bursting with scrumptious pizzas and sweet surprises.
Bushcraft Experience
There’ll be a chance for youngsters to try their hand at bushcraft and learn more about the animals at Wildwood from the charity’s expert keepers.
Bushcraft experiences offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Book your place at the shop when you enter the park. Sessions run from 11am-12.30pm and 2pm-3.30pm.
Valentine's night tour
The week will start with a special Valentine's celebration night tour on Friday February 14th.
The Valentine’s Day celebrations include a magical, guided night tour through the heart of the woodland, giving visitors a chance to see the park's nocturnal inhabitants in a new light, and a sumptious two- course meal under the stars.
Dining 6-7pm, night tour 7-9pm. £60 per person.
