Nestled in 40 acres of enchanting woodland in the heart of Kent, Wildwood is home to over 200 fascinating British species. From majestic bears and enigmatic wolves to playful otters and arctic foxes, our park offers a unique opportunity to connect with wildlife in their natural habitats.
Wildwood is the ideal destination for a family adventure. Our park features an extensive playground where children can burn off energy, while parents relax in our scenic picnic areas, dotted across the woodlands.
What to expect at Wildwood Kent
Woodland
Enjoy walking through 40 acres of beautiful and enchanting ancient woodland, while spotting our animals in their natural habitats.
Animals
Bears, wolves, bison, elk, badgers, arctic foxes, wild boar, deer, lynx, wildcat, owls, storks, and snakes are among some of the many animals you will have the chance to spot. Our collection is unique in that we specialise in native British species.
Nature trails
A fun adventure for the kids, with a prize at the end.
Play area
Featuring a drop slide, two zip slides, towers, and classic swingsets. Separate play area for under 5’s.
Cafe
Feeling peckish? Visit one of our catering outlets to pick up a quick snack or lunch. We also offer freshly made pizzas in a picturesque setting. It’s the perfect way to unwind after exploration and play.
Gift shop
Take home a piece of Wildwood with you. Our shop is stocked with a range of souvenirs, gifts and wildlife-themed merchandise.

What's on
Help our appeal to save British wildcats
The European wildcat is Britain’s rarest mammal. We need your help to establish a self-sustaining wildcat population in areas where they once would have thrived. There are only 300 left!
A healthy population of Wildcats in the wild will help to restore the balance in the ecosystem by controlling numbers of prey animals, such as rabbits and rodents, and predators such as foxes through competition for food.

Adopt an animal
Animal adoptions last for one year and are the perfect gift for any animal lover. Each adoption helps support our work to save British wildlife. We have different levels of adoption available to suit all occasions and budgets, and you can choose from any one of our animals.
