Disabled facilities

Pathways

Wildwood Kent is accessible by mobility scooter and wheelchair, apart from the rope bridge over the bear enclosure. Please be aware that we are based in an ancient woodland and as such, some of our paths are muddy with exposed tree roots.

Mobility scooters and wheelchairs

We have two mobility scooters and three wheelchairs for use, at £10 per use. Please speak to the shop about booking your scooter/wheelchair and terms of use, by phoning on 01227 209621. Please note that our two scooters sometimes get booked out so please book early to avoid disappointment. Wildwood mobility scooters have weight limits of 21 stone which cannot be exceeded.

Parking

Space for coaches and extensive car parking, all free. Please note that coach and mini-bus parking is strictly limited to off-peak visits only. We cannot accommodate large vehicles during holiday periods.
