No tricks, just free entry for kids this half term!

Get the whole family together for a wild day out packed with autumn adventures, Halloween fun and incredible wildlife. From spooky woodland tales with our resident witch to creepy-crawly discoveries, hands-on crafts and marshmallow toasting around the fire, there’s plenty to keep little adventurers entertained.

There’s no better time to get outdoors and make some wild memories.

Up to two children under 18 will be admitted for free with a full-paying adult or member, so book your tickets in advance.

There's no need to go into hibernation just yet! Wildwood changes with the seasons, so there's a whole new park to discover this October half term.

Get ready for a half term packed with treats. From spooky trick-or-treat trails, action-packed outdoor holiday activities and seeing the amazing ways our wildlife are preparing for the colder months ahead, there's something to get the whole family outdoors and enjoying autumn.

Trick or Treat trail - all ages

Explore the park, discover amazing animals and get into the Halloween spirit with our brand new trick or treat trail! Those who complete the spooky trail will be rewarded with a prize and a complimentary hot chocolate.

Junior zookeeper experience- Ages 5 - 16

Our junior zookeeper experience is aimed at children with a keen interest in working with animals later in life!

Wildlings holiday club - ages 5 - 11

Adventure awaits this half term in Wildlings holiday club, children will get involved in craft and nature based activities while learning about our animals.

As the days get shorter and the temperatures drop, the animals begin getting ready for the colder months ahead.
Keep your eyes peeled for seasonal changes, like our Arctic foxes starting to grow their winter coats, and see if you can spot how other animals are adapting to the changing season.
After a particularly hot summer, autumn is a great time to get outside and explore Wildwood.
Wrap up warm and enjoy the crisp autumn air to see the season changing around you. Embrace the autumn colours, spot fallen acorns along the paths and enjoy the peaceful sights of the woodland in autumn.
