BioBlitz
Help us discover the wildlife that calls Wildwood home
Join us at Wildwood on 23rd & 24th May, from 10am to 4pm for an exciting weekend celebrating nature, wildlife recording, and biodiversity.
Our BioBlitz brings together visitors, conservationists, researchers, and wildlife experts to help identify and record as many species as possible across the park. From plants and fungi to mammals, insects, reptiles, and birds. Every discovery helps us better understand and protect the natural habitats at Wildwood.
What is a BioBlitz?
A BioBlitz is a large-scale wildlife survey where people work together to record the species living in a particular area over a short period of time.
Using the iNaturalist app, staff and visitors can help create a valuable snapshot of biodiversity across the site.
The information collected during the weekend will support future conservation and habitat management projects at Wildwood.
